Medical/Dental Cost Estimator

When you get that stern look from your doctor, informing you of your need to see a specialist, anyone would get concerned. Not only would the diagnoses be a source for worry, but the procedure and the cost would be on your mind as well.

I discovered an online tool that might help with estimating the cost involved for a set procedure. The site is called FHConsumer.org and is fairly straightforward to use, giving fairly accurate information. You simply enter your zip code, check if you’re insured or not, then enter the procedure. I chose root canal work, as I am familiar with the costs involved; the return information wasn’t just close, it was right on the money.

So who, or what is FH? It stands for Fair Health and per their website they are:
