{"id":5702,"date":"2014-07-22T02:58:36","date_gmt":"2014-07-22T06:58:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bodynsoil.com\/blog\/?p=5702"},"modified":"2017-12-13T06:32:56","modified_gmt":"2017-12-13T11:32:56","slug":"layne-norton-on-metabolic-damage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bodynsoil.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/layne-norton-on-metabolic-damage\/","title":{"rendered":"Layne Norton on Metabolic Damage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the last year and a half I&#8217;ve experimented with various nutritional protocols to test the procedure on myself.\u00a0 With each protocol I spent time talking with a varied group of people involved, reading literature, and learning a lot of tidbits along the way.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Talking with many different groups of people<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong> is a great way to gain insight into each nutritional style.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lately I&#8217;ve been thinking about Video log #6, by Layne Norton of\u00a0 BioLayne, it gives perspective to Layne\u2019s thinking when working with clients preparing for competition. Layne&#8217;s approach to cutting, by first increasing intake, follows the &#8220;Eat More for Health and Fitness&#8221; seen lately in some of the more popular forums and groups.<\/p>\n<p>It is refreshing to hear people talking about eating enough to fuel activity and feed the body.\u00a0 Of course the foods used to increase intake are important as you still want to stay away from precooked, prepackaged, processed, or fast type foods.<\/p>\n<p>Layne&#8217;s video really spoke to me about the struggle of eating less and less, becoming frustrated with feeling listless or drained, all while still struggling with weight.<\/p>\n<p>Layne discusses more than under eating, but also steady state exercise vs exercise intervals.
