I started my journey to resolve Keurig&#8217;s waste filling ways,\u00a0 yet struggled to find a resolution. Researching and trying multiple formats of single serve coffee takes time, I&#8217;ve also chatted up various innovators, to see what needs to happen to improve the original K-cup, anything to make a less wasteful brew.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">W<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>e are hoping to discover resolution to the lazy man&#8217;s<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong> &#8220;single serve compostable coffee&#8221; service<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Soon we will taste test two new coffee sources:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The &#8220;One Cup&#8221; pod system, which limits us to their choices, compatible with Keurig.<\/li>\n<li>More excitingly, we will be taste testing Bulletproof Coffee, to be used in the JavaJig coffee single serve pod system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>I am very excited to taste test Bulletproof coffee, by itself, and using their blending recipe.<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Why am I so excited you ask?<\/strong> This is due to their promise of a better tasting, less bitter (passive) organic coffee. This comes from a family coffee farm, which uses a cold water processing technique to remove the outer shell. This technique, according to the Bulletproof site, eliminates the occurrence of mycotoxins from forming.
