Happy New Year Everyone!! Goodbye to 2011 and all the troubles that went along with that, we wish you the best for 2012. May this year blossom into something special for each and every one of you…<\/p>\n

Now with that being said I can’t wait to get this year underway, the garden plans are on paper, lets get this show rolling. I am very excited to start putting plans in motion, I hope to prep my seed sprouting as early as this afternoon. Now that I have those plans in the works I can sit back and start thinking about the next planning phase, which is my health.<\/p>\n

Each year brings new things, new adventures, and, as always, some excitement for the unknown. The holiday gifting brought us a much improved blender, the Vitamix Pro<\/a>! We have been toying with this powerful tool, soon it will be used in full force as the harvest is brought into the kitchen. My only health concern, at this point, discovering me being low on vitamin D<\/a>, one of the concerns there is the lowered bone density, also a condition of people who drink coffee, which leads me to my next thought..<\/p>\n

Many people have asked me what my resolutions are, one group (challenge) asks that I give up one thing, add up the savings for 30 days, then donate that amount to the BeLikeBrit.com<\/a> fund; I am doing that challenge starting today.<\/p>\n

What will I give up, or mostly give up at least: Coffee!! If you knew me you would also know that is my secret addiction, it needs to go for many reasons, not only for those mentioned above. Not every last drop however, I will allow myself one cup in the morning, perhaps one in the evening. This is huge actually, as that would remove anywhere from 2 to 5 cups from my day, yikes..<\/p>\n
