Just after our son left for college, we welcomed a new member to the family; our lovely Brittany Spaniel. Always loving a good hike, it was a great excuse to get the family together outside, exploring the area around us.<\/p>\n

When the clouds cleared, we quickly loaded our dog and out we went around the pond.\u00a0 We haven’t been here as a family, so it was a great day out.\u00a0\u00a0 A few nice photos we took along the way.<\/p>\n

The pond has nice open borders, the forest portion of the trail is also very nice.<\/p><\/div>\n

I’m not sure this old tree would have kept him out of the pond water.<\/p><\/div>\n

Of course you could say that I used this cute adorable pup as bait, to entice our son home for the day. It most likely is true, I filled my empty nest with a family dog. Now our son complains that we love on our dog more than we do him. Which of course isn’t true, it is cute that he might be a bit jealous of the family pet.<\/p>\n
