The daily prompt word Bludgeon completely stumped me this morning. How does one write about a word with a background in violence. Thankfully, bludgeon is not part of my day-to-day life; I don’t use it in a sentence often, if ever. Stewing over it while raking mounds of leaves, taking advantage the last warm day of fall; I decided google would inspire something.<\/p>\n

Google provided a source of inspiration for the daily prompt post of the day.<\/p>\n

Having no youngsters in the house, I’m no longer familiar with character names of toys or children’s shows. This ignorance was behind my surprise when search images were all toys when I expected something gory.<\/p>\n

Apparently Bludgeon is the name of a transformer character; my first thought was the violent nature behind it. The character Bludgeon has collection of outfit sets<\/a>,1<\/sup><\/span> for protection play or as an avenue to plump up sales.<\/p>\n

Bludgeon has its own Wiki page and photo<\/a>,2<\/sup><\/span> as seen below. I’m unsure if the character is a male or female, not that it matters but assuming the protective gear would aid either in beating the bad guy.<\/p>\n

Another source reveals, Bludgeon quotes and memes<\/a>, which were equally surprising and intriguing. What would I find when going through the meme list, would they be; funny, thought-provoking, or frightening?<\/p>\n

What I found in the memes wasn’t violence, instead they used the word to drive emotion to their thought. The three images show the use, I chose to not include the negative quote on religion 3<\/sup><\/span> as I respect the choice of followers of various faiths.<\/p>\n
