The daily prompt word is base. Most people would immediately think of the Chicago Cubs with their epic win. A win with so much emotion that 5 million people came to celebrate; making it the 7th largest gathering in human history1.
The second thing that came to mind, for me at least, was Ace of Base2 the 90’s Swedish pop group. I’ll admit that I couldn’t pin-point an actual song that the band popularized. Billboard.com3 ranked #1 as “The Sign” with “All that She Wants” ranking #2.
The most memorable is a song my husband and I spent many a date danced away to. I’ll post the video, I’m not responsible for dancing in your seats, or jumping up to move; dance with the refrigerator door as I would as a child. Rob Base and DJ EX Rock and their epic, “It Takes Two 4” would rock the house at many of parties; floors would flex as people grooved with the base.
DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s “Turn down for what”, is a song with a lot of base. I hadn’t realized the multiple videos loud base clearing snow off cars. I apologize in advance as everyone knows being outside a car with loud base is annoying, apparently the snow doesn’t want to stay around either.
