We were blessed with another show of the Night Blooming Cereus.
Luckily, we were able to photograph the night bloom cereus in its glory, making a time-lapse video animation for your enjoyment. If only I could share the amazing scent with you as well.
We’ve had this plant for a number of years, the plant is kept tucked away when not in bloom; but center court during the show. We actually had missed the first blooming while traveling. Normally, missing the blooming event isn’t a big deal; this plant only blooms once a year; missing it meant we needed to wait a long time to see it again.
If you’ve started a cutting and wondering about plant care, please see this earlier post regarding the Night Blooming Cereus which has plant care tips.
I had one of this for years that was my grandmothers and unfortunately it died. Ive been looking for one ever since. Sny suggestions where I can find one? Is this something a nursery might have? I live in East Tn.
I have a plant that could be divided, if you really want another plant you could email me your address.
