Adsense error 500 site update code Fix

Have you tried to save your updated configurations for Adsense, only to see Adsense error 500, changes not saved!

Sorry we were unable to save your configuration. The request to your server failed with error code 500.

According to Raining Forks (great blog name) fixing the error 500 is an easy as disabling Wordfence until your adsense changes are saved.

adsense error 500

  1. Go to your “Installed Plugins” page
  2. Scroll down until you see “Wordfence” and click disable
  3. Open Adsense in a new tab and make needed changes.
  4. Save all changes, they should go through without the Adsense error 500.
  5. Return to plugin page and reactivate Wordfence.

As soon as you see confirmation, reactivate Wordfence and all is well.

As Sheldon would say;

Bazinga… Problem solved.

Have you seen the Adsense error 500 code and did this fix work for you?

  1. If you are getting this error then please FIRST deactivate these plugins W3 Total Cache and Wordfence Security if you have in your installed plugin directory and after that apply the Google AdSense Plugin settings. Your problem or error will be solved.
