Weeding made easy

As any gardener knows, weeding can be a real pain in the buttinski. Of course, with all the gardens I have around, I needed to find a way to get the job done quickly and pain free. A few years ago, I found a tool weed with little to no effort at all, as long as you get to it in time.

Weeding with a Bernzomatic garden flamer is the easiest weeding has ever been for me.  The unit uses the small camp gas containers, which last for hours, one click from the self igniter and you are ready to rid yourself of pesky weeds.  It only takes a quick pass over the junior weedlings to cook their cells, making them unable to process sunlight.  More often than not they wilt right before your eyes.

Watch this video to see my flamer in action, notice how it passes so close to the flowers without impacting them. Toward the end of the video you can see how it just melts the weeds away.  This tool works best on weeds after they first germinate and after a rain shower, so you don’t catch your mulch or gardens on fire.
