It is never too late for fitness to change your life

It is never too late for change

One of the advantages of social media is that sometimes you will stumble upon things just at the right time to inspire you to accept change. The photo below described a woman who, at 68 years old, was competing in the Arnold Sport and Fitness Competition.

In the moment, the photo spoke volumes as I was feeling “over the hill” about ever competing. Here I was in my late forties thinking I had missed my window of opportunity, apparently not. The lovely woman in the below photo proves that fitness comes at any age.

Thank you to this random stranger for helping to inspire me today.

  6. It has been our dream for a few years to move to the countryside, and we have set ourselves a goal to get there in the next 6 years. I think that living in a more scenic location is better for one’s self esteem, confidence and health. When we are happy, it radiates from within and shines out. The air quality is healthier as there is not nearly so much traffic. I always feel that I have bags of energy when I visit family in the country and the pace is slower and much more relaxed.
