Mother Earth Garden Planner Update
We are now fast approaching the planting season here in northern Vermont. If you recall from a past post titled: “Mother Earth News Garden Planner” I am trying this online planner vs hand written notes. To date they are doing exactly as they promised and sending email reminders regarding my planting schedule along with nice articles to read.
Not only are you able to get a print out of your garden plan but also a list of plants that include: when to start indoors, when to plant outdoors and when to harvest. The planting details are giving regarding spacing and you can look up the care and needs of each plant specified.

I’m a big believer in companion planting, especially when it comes to attracting beneficial insects using plants that are native. Native plants are the best at attracting insects that help reduce the problem insects in your garden.
